Validation Engineer/Specialist

VTI Pharmaceutical Technologies (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. (www.vtipharma.cn) is a multi-national contract validation service provider committed to providing our global clients with the highest quality validation services. VTI Pharma is currently looking for an experienced Validation Specialist, specifically with prior experience with QC analytical lab equipment validation, WFI systems, and autoclaves. The qualified candidate must have a thorough understanding of validation practices and regulatory regulations; and excellent verbal and written communication skills to facilitate communication with both clients and VTI team members.
 
Project duration will begin immediately and last for approximately four months. This position is located in China.
 

Requirements

  • Able and willing to travel and/or relocate to China
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English; communication skills in Chinese is a plus
  • 4 year degree in an applicable technical area, such as Biology, Chemistry or Engineering
  • At least 3 years of experience in a biotechnology or pharmaceutical manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of GMP facilities and cGMP requirements
  • Experience working in aseptic manufacturing facilities
  • Experience in the generation and execution of process validation protocols and reports
  • Previous experience in the validation of biological products
  • Knowledge of statistical methods and previous experience utilizing statistical rationale for the verification of product quality attributes and critical process parameters
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Word and Excel are mandatory
  • The ability to work effectively with team members and work under minimal supervision
  • Able and willing to work flexible hours
  • The ability to travel nationally and internationally is a plus

Physical Demands

  • Lifting Limits: Up to 50 lbs
  • Work Environment: standing for extended periods; access to platforms, ladders, spaces with limited ingress and egress; gowning for cleanroom entry is usually required
