Validation Engineers/Specialists - We are immediately seeking experienced Validation Engineers and Specialists. The selected candidates will support a VTI project team in the greater Los Angeles area.
Positions may be either full time permanent or contract. Travel allowance is available for qualified applicants.
Qualified candidates will have experience in the commissioning and validation of process equipment in a GMP aseptic manufacturing environment: The systems to be commissioned and qualified include:
- Vial Washers
- Depyrogenation tunnel
- Filling machine
- Capper
- Lyophilizer
- WFI Still and Distribution Loop
- Process utilities (CDA, N2, Purified Water)
Requirements
- 4 year degree in an applicable technical area, such as Engineering, Biology, Chemistry, or Computer Science.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in a biotechnology or pharmaceutical manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of GMP facilities and cGMP requirements
- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Word and Excel are mandatory
- Experience in writing technical documents, including validation documents, protocols, and reports
- The ability to work effectively with team members and work under minimal supervision
- Able and willing to work flexible hours
Physical Demands
- Lifting Limits: Up to 50 lbs
- Work Environment: standing for extended periods; access to platforms, ladders, spaces with limited ingress and egress; gowning for cleanroom entry is usually required
